Established in 1994, the Minnesota Building Industry Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to improving the home building industry.

The Foundation was initially created to provide education and career options for a dwindling workforce. These efforts resulted in continuing scholarship programs, a Tools for Schools program, and a Careers in Construction video. But with changing industry needs, the Foundation has remained flexible in its mission to best serve our builders and communities.
